How might we turn students' natural curiosity and passions into valuable learning experiences? The PBL approach provides students with inquiry based learning in which they gain a deeper understanding of the content, while also building complex thinking skills. Genius Hour, while also inquiry based, allows students to guide their own learning through personal interests. Student voice and choice are emphasized in both approaches and through these strategies students are designing, creating, and doing extraordinary things. Student project examples, resources and a step-by-step guide will be shared.
